It exceeds my expectations

This is an excellent tree for heavy cats. Normally, I have to put bricks at the bottom of my cat tree, but this one did not need any because the base and platforms are quite heavy.

It arrived to my apartment complex in three heavy boxes. If you're a strong woman, you could lift these into a cart. Getting my brother to do it for me was so much easier though, ha ha. Definitely get help if you have no muscles or are elderly. Everything is wood except for the posts. They seem to be made from a dense cardboard. The sisal posts and plush fabric seem to be of good quality. The hammocks are heavy-duty metal rings with quilted fabric sewn around it. I have no worries about that fabric tearing in the hammock. The black sisal with contrasting grey fabric looks pretty fancy to me. I had no problems putting this together by myself. Definitely check that you have all your parts and follow the directions. Do not put it together based on the picture because some of the posts are slightly shorter than others to accommodate for the hammocks.

My 2yr, 7lb girl took to the tree right away. She hoists herself up using the posts and has enjoyed every single area of the tree. My 12yr, 10lb girl has only gotten to the first platform on her own. She's clumsy in general and prefers a warm lap over furniture though. I put her into a hammock and she napped in there for a while, but needed me to take her out of it. My 9yr, 17lb boy is too scared to go above the 1st platform without help. I had to purchase a smaller, cheap cat tree to put next to this one so he could climb confidently to the triangular platform. Now he goes everywhere except the very top and the hammocks. He's a suspicious scaredy cat anyway, so he'll probably figure out the hammocks in a few months when no one is looking.

It is an excellent tree for confident cats. I'm pretty satisfied with my purchase, but I kind of wish I spent more money to get a bigger tree. Perhaps if you have cats like mine, you might want to consider a tree that is spread out more for them to jump easier to each area.

My Maine Coon loves to lay in the hammocks and on the top as well as on the shelf to watch out over the room. He has used the stairs a few times as well. It's got a heavy bottom and will not tip at all!

My cats love their new cat tree. All of them are regular (non Maine Coon) sized cats. I find half of them (5) sleeping on the tree at any given time.

Shipping was quick! From ordering online to delivery, it took a total of 4 business days. As for assembly: the cat tree, while heavy, was easy to put together. One person can build it, however, it's a much smoother process with two people.

We needed to upgrade to a larger cat tree as our kitten that we got for Christmas last year has blossomed into a 14lb delight and exceeds the capacity of the tree that we bought from the pet store.

Quality – This is a premium piece of furniture not just another novelty cat tree from one of the Big Box pet stores. Well worth the price.

Ease of assembly – My wife said it only took her about an hour for her and our Ragamuffin to put this together.

My cat who likes to scratch my furniture is very picky about what she'll accept as an alternative. This sturdy, well-made scratching post was an instant favorite--it holds up under her intensity and seems like it will last a good long time!

So far my cats love the climbing wall. They are one year old Maine Coon cats and currently weigh 18 pounds. Because of this I did substitute the toggle bolts provided for heavy duty toggle bolts. I used almost every component that Cat Tree King sells and the hammocks and shelves are at the highest point of 12 feet.The more adventurous of the two jumped right on the day after the components were installed. The other one took a few days of waiting and watching but now he has climbed to the top! It is a very good looking system.

This cat tree is amazing! I was concerned about the hammocks, my cats have never liked them before. But what isn’t actually mentioned is that these hammocks are STURDY! Made with metal, by the feel I would guess steel. So my cats feel comfortable getting into and out of them.
My boys took to this immediately, they like to rough house and race and this is definitely stable enough to take it.
I really like that all the platforms are plenty big for them, no hanging over except by choice.
The tree was easy to assemble and went up quickly.

My cats can be picky about scratching posts and beds, but they started using this as a bed the first night and are starting to use it as a scratching post now as well. It's really well-made and sturdy, and it was super easy to assemble. We all love it!

What a great cat tree. The sisal poles are incredibly sturdy to support a lot of weight, allowing the cats to zoom up and down them without issue. The basket's rim and base are metal, so it's not going to break as they're using it.

The base of the tree is incredibly wide and heavy, making it very structurally sound and stable despite the height of the tree. To top it all off, it was incredibly simple to put together. Just be sure to sort the poles and screws by length to make sure you're using the right kind where appropriate.

The very top perches might be a little hard to reach if you're shorter than 6 feet, but a step ladder will solve that issue.

I have 20lbs worth of cat to take care of. This is the first cat tree to not dangerously wobble, especially when he gets the zoomies. 8 years young and uses every tier of the tree. He was very hesitant to use it the first two weeks but we kept at it by hiding treats up there. Would buy another one in a heartbeat. Here he is zonked out in his favorite hangout.

My two cats love it and are constantly all over it ^¬^. They also love sleeping in the hammock beds.
